- Duration of Contract: 3 Months Extendable
- Guaranteed hours:36 hrs
Pay Rate: $70/hr
Requirements:
- 3 Years of experience
- BLS required
- Covid Vaccination required
- Valid and unrestricted State of California Registered Nurse License (RN License).
- NIHSS
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) card.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) card.
- Employees must maintain all health requirements designated by Kern Medical Center
- Possess and maintain a current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) card
- Depending on assignment incumbents may be required to possess and maintain specific certificates of competency as a condition of employment
- Knowledge of advanced theory, techniques and practices of nursing; medical terminology, instruments and equipment; the uses and effects of medicines and narcotics.
Job Description:
- Being ready to respond and equipped to deal with a medical emergency.
- Quickly assessing patient needs.
- Treating critical injuries, allergic reactions, and trauma.
- Performing minor medical operations.
- Cleaning wounds.
- Drawing blood.
