Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Greeting and Welcoming: Ensure all patients and their families feel comfortable and valued from the moment they arrive.
- Patient Assistance: Anticipate and attend to the needs of our patients, providing exceptional customer service.
- Administrative Duties: Manage patient check-ins, answer and route telephone calls, schedule appointments, and handle front office tasks efficiently.
- Financial Transactions: Collect patient balances at the time of service, ensuring smooth and accurate financial processes.
Qualifications
Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 0 - 2 years of experience working in a customer support role or hospitality field
- Strong customer service background and focus
- Professional written and verbal communication skills
- Working knowledge and ability to perform accurately and efficiently on computer
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working in a physician practice or other type of medical services office
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Prior patient collections experience in a medical setting
- Medical records experience
- Bachelor’s Degree
