Job Summary
MedRock pharmacy is looking for a motivated , growth oriented licensed pharmacist preferably with compounding experience and high level of customer service.
MedRock is a Non-Sterile compounding pharmacy with Dermatology focus.
The Pharmacist will be responsible for the day to day operations of the pharmacy. This includes oversight of the data entry, customer service, and lab departments. They will need to be able to understand key business elements of our operation and provide leadership to the various department leads. In addition, the position will work closely with the Pharmacy Manager to help develop strategies to meet the challenges of our growing business. This position requires a person who is self guided and can handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Key Functions:
1. Dispensing and Compounding medications for patients. Counseling patients. Supervising staff.
2. Help maintain the pharmacy operations to meet all necessary legal and regulatory guidelines.
3. Provide leadership and guidance to technicians and other staff members in the performance of their responsibilities.
4. Maintain communications with the Pharmacy Manager to ensure daily operations of the pharmacy are being attained
5. Focus on quality assurance to correctly interpret physician orders and to prevent medication errors
6. Assist in managing workflow to accommodate fluctuations in work load (among the various departments)
7. Ability to excel in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment working on multiple tasks simultaneously, while adhering to strict guidelines
8. Ability to work independently and deliver set deadlines

Qualifications and Skills
* Registered Pharmacist in Florida. Managing experience and 2-4 years experience as a compounding Pharmacist is a plus.
* Experience in an accredited compounding lab.
* Demonstrate a high level of interpersonal and communication skills. Offer high level customer service.
* Demonstrates knowledge of procedures and regulations related to the preparation and dispensing, and safe use of pharmaceuticals and compounds.
* A on-Site training is required.
