What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cashier and Customer Service position at Medrocs Pharmacy?
Pharmacy clerks are the front-line workers at Medrocs Pharmacy. They help pharmacists provide patient care by assisting in prescriptions checkout, handling inventory, Scheduling phone calls to patients, and performing other tasks to ensure that patients get the medications they need.
Pharmacy clerks may also be responsible for interacting with customers directly. This might include answering questions about medications and maintaining a good business relationship with our patients.
Pharmacy Customer Service/Clerk Duties
- Assist in handling telephone calls, along with direct calls to concerned person.
- Greeting customers and assisting them with any questions they may have regarding their prescriptions
- Assist in Prescription Checkouts and handling cash register.
- Ensure confidentiality and privacy of Personal Health Information (PHI) as needed by HIPAA.
- Direct patients to counsel window for pharmacist consultation.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent
- Minimum age: 18
- Experience: Preferred but not required, will train on the job.
- Day Shift Only
- US work authorization.

Pay: $11.00 - $14.00 per hour
