The Human Resources Manager is a critical role in managing the day-to-day HR operations and supporting the entire employee life cycle at MEDRVA Healthcare. Reporting to the Vice President of Human Resources and Operations, this position will oversee all HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding/offboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, payroll administration, compliance, and employee engagement. The ideal candidate will have previous healthcare or HR Generalist/Manager-level experience within a fast-paced setting.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition and Onboarding
- Manage full-cycle recruitment for all roles, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Partner with department leaders to identify staffing needs and attract top talent.
- Streamline onboarding processes to ensure a seamless integration for new hires.
Employee Relations
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employees regarding HR-related questions and concerns.
- Address employee relations issues, conduct investigations, and provide guidance on corrective actions.
- Promote a positive workplace culture by fostering open communication and engagement.
Compensation and Benefits
- Administer employee benefits programs, including annual enrollment and updates.
- Ensure accurate payroll processing by collaborating with finance and payroll vendors.
- Conduct market analyses to support competitive and equitable compensation practices.
Compliance and Policy Management
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Maintain and update HR policies and procedures in alignment with organizational goals.
- Oversee accurate record-keeping, including employee files and compliance documentation.
Organizational Development and Employee Engagement
- Lead employee engagement initiatives to enhance morale and retention.
- Support leadership with performance management processes, including annual reviews and goal setting.
- Plan and execute employee recognition programs and events to celebrate milestones and achievements.
HR Operations
- Manage day-to-day HR operations, including HRIS updates, reporting, and employee inquiries.
- Support strategic HR initiatives, including workforce planning and succession management.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership on HR trends and organizational needs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (HR certification preferred).
- 3 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in healthcare or a fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of HR principles, labor laws, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency Microsoft Office Suite.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems including Paylocity (preferred)
- Previous experience managing HR in a healthcare or similar setting. (preferred)
