As a Regulatory Compliance Specialist, you’ll be in charge of navigating the fast-changing world of telemedicine prescribing, controlled substances, and pharmacy licensing. You’ll monitor federal and state regulatory changes, maintain licensing requirements, and ensure compliance with controlled substance laws. - Regulatory Compliance Monitoring: Stay ahead of evolving federal and state regulations surrounding telemedicine prescribing, controlled substances, and pharmacy licensing.
- Licensing & Credentialing: Ensure compliance with DEA regulations, pharmacy licensing requirements, and controlled substance laws across multiple states.
- Compliance Oversight: Monitor regulations affecting physicians, nurse practitioners, pharmacists, DEA licenses, and controlled substance prescribing.
- State & Federal Compliance: Track and implement state-specific regulations regarding e-prescribing, controlled substance dispensing, and telehealth laws.
- Regulatory Tools & Reporting: Utilize tools to track changing regulations, state licensing updates, and compliance requirements.
- Audit & Risk Management: Assist in regulatory audits, ensure proper documentation, and proactively address compliance risks.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with legal, pharmacy operations, and provider teams to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements.
- Policy & Procedure Development: Create and update regulatory policies to meet compliance needs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Regulatory Affairs, Pharmacy, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in regulatory affairs, compliance, or a related role.
- Strong understanding of DEA regulations, controlled substance laws, and state pharmacy licensing requirements.
- Experience tracking multi-state healthcare regulations and ensuring compliance.
- Familiarity with telemedicine regulations, prescribing rules, and federal prescription laws.
- Experience using regulatory tracking tools to monitor policy changes.
- Experience tracking multi-state healthcare regulations and ensuring compliance.

- Experience in pharmacy compliance or telemedicine regulatory affairs.
