Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and physical examinations.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
- Manage acute and chronic health conditions, including discharge planning for patients.
- Maintain accurate medical records using the Epic electronic health record system.
- Educate patients and their families on health management and disease prevention.
- Ensure compliance with sterile processing standards in the operating room (OR).
- Participate in hospital medicine initiatives to improve patient outcomes.
- Engage in continuous professional development and training opportunities.
Experience
- A Master's degree in Nursing or a related field is required.
- Current Nurse Practitioner certification and state licensure.
- Previous experience in an acute care setting or teaching hospital is preferred.
- Familiarity with medical records management systems, particularly Epic, is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment.
