The Solo Practitioner will be responsible for diagnosing and treating various medical conditions, performing procedures, and ensuring patient education.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient evaluations and assessments, particularly for children and toddlers.
- Perform medical procedures including suturing, ventilating, spinal taps, and administering injections.
- Manage laboratory tests and coding for accurate patient records.
- Provide care for patients with dementia and other chronic conditions.
- Develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Maintain compliance with healthcare standards and regulations.
- Educate patients and families on health management and preventive care.
- Document all patient interactions accurately in electronic health records.
Qualifications
- Medical degree from an accredited institution with relevant licensure to practice medicine.
- Experience working with children, including toddler care, is preferred.
- Proficiency in performing medical procedures such as suturing, ventilating, spinal taps, and administering injections.
- Familiarity with laboratory processes and coding practices is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of dementia care principles.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages.
