Job Summary
The Imaging Specialist plays a critical role in the healthcare team, responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures to assist in the evaluation and treatment of patients. This position requires a strong understanding of anatomy and the ability to operate various imaging equipment, ensuring high-quality images are produced for accurate diagnostic evaluation. The Imaging Specialist will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals in a fast-paced environment, often within a Level I Trauma Center.
Skills
- ARRT Certification and Radiologic Technology skills
- Knowledge of Radiation Safety and Radiology practices
- Experience in Mammography and Medical Imaging
- Skilled in operating sonography equipment and performing ultrasound examinations.
- Familiarity with CT (Computed Tomography) and nuclear medicine procedures.
- Ability to work effectively within a Level I Trauma Center environment.
- Competent in scanning techniques that ensure high-quality image capture.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients and healthcare professionals.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
