Responsibilities

- Perform procedures such as venipuncture, suturing, and tube feeding as required.
- Administer medications and manage pain, including acute pain management strategies.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment plans, and preventive care.
- Utilize eClinicalWorks for accurate documentation and tracking of patient information.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices in pediatric care and pain management.
Requirements
- Valid APRN license with appropriate certification in the state of practice.
- Experience in a teaching hospital setting is preferred.
- Proficiency in performing venipuncture, suturing, tube feeding, and patient assessment.
- Strong knowledge of pain management techniques and medication administration protocols.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
