Description:
The position of Chief Scribe entails various administrative responsibilities to maintain and grow a client site. Individuals applying for this position should be team-oriented, capable of identifying individual and client needs, and comfortable with the basics of health care administration and program evaluation. In this role, you should be able to maintain a presence on-site at the various locations to complete shifts and train and evaluate staff. The blend of clinical and administrative time offers the best opportunity for the chief scribe to maintain strong relationships with staff, providers, and administrators.
Basic Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree (in the process of earning or have already received)
- Demonstrated capacity for leadership and administration/management
- Experience training new staff
- Willingness to complete necessary training and associated competency testing
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Sufficient level competency of Epic utilization
- Commitment of up to 5-10 additional hours per week, in addition to scribing hours, for administrative tasks
