Pediatrix is seeking a per diem, experienced, Board Certified OB Hospitalist to assist with coverage at St. Joseph's Women's Hospital in Tampa, FL.
Responsibilities
- Delivery attendance, OB triage, patient evaluation and management, surgical assists, fetal monitoring and ER coverage
- Over 8000 deliveries annually at the hospital, with 900 delivered by the hospitalist team
- 4,200 annual OBED visits per year
- Team of 8 OBGYNs
- 24-hour shifts with double physician coverage
- Supported by a Level-III NICU with board certified neonatologists available 24 hours a day
- Coverage begins in June 2024
