Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day to day functions of billing, claims submission, follow up, cash posting, and collections
- Responsible for knowledge of reimbursement issues of products and services for third party payment
- Follow up on claim denials, request for additional information and non payment in a timely manner
- Work aging report and review with management on a timely basis
- Provide reports on a weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis as needed
- Work with Managers to ensure proper implementation and adherence to policies and procedures to maximize the efficiency and productivity with in the revenue cycle
Skills/Requirements:
- Associates or Bachelors Degree preferred
- 3 - 5 years of billing experience preferred; experience in medical claims
- Knowledge of third party billing, including state and federal insurance programs
- Interpersonal and Problem-solving skills
- Excellent Customer Service
- Strong Managerial Ability
- Attention to Detail
- Ability to use a computer equivalent to the position
- Required to Pass a Background Check
