Responsibilities

The Benefits Analyst will assist with HRIS implementations and system improvements. The Benefits Analyst will help to ensure timely and accurate completion of certain benefit transactions and serve as point of contact to local benefit coordinators. The Benefits Specialist will be the liaison between the Corporate Benefits Manager, local benefit coordinators, TPAs, and the IT benefits team. The Benefits Analyst is responsible for assisting in the management, security, and data integrity of the Benefits offerings in place for all. The Benefits Analyst must effectively interact with Executive, Utilization Review, Contracting, Customer Service and Claims. The position should perform developing vendor audits and run and create reports for the benefits. In addition, this role performs special projects as assigned by the Department Management. Requires a high level of responsibility, confidentiality, judgment and discretion in applying departmental policies and procedures and handling confidential information; works independently requiring minimal direction. 

Qualifications

Required qualifications:

 

1.    Bachelor’s degree required or at least 3 years’ experience in benefit administration required.

2.    Previous experience coordinating employee benefits, e.g. health, dental, vision coverage, Evidence of Insurability processing etc required.

3.    Microsoft Office tools Skills required.

4.    Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills.

5.    Out of state travel required.

6.    Computer literate with an intermediate knowledge base of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook.

7.    Strong grammar and communication skills.

 

Preferred qualifications:

 

1.    Previous experience with HRIS/Lawson, preferred.

2.    Strong organizational and follow-up skills.

3.    Associate degree from an accredited institution

4.    SharePoint skills preferred.

 

MedSpace Services offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package that provides employees the flexibility to tailor benefits according to their individual needs. Our Total Rewards package includes, but is not limited to, paid time off, a 401K retirement plan, medical, dental, and vision coverage, tuition reimbursement, and many more voluntary benefit options.  Benefits may vary based on employment status, i.e. full-time, part-time, per diem or temporary.  A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $52,000.00 to $75,316.80 on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
