We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established healthcare facility in Long Island, seeking an experienced Physician Assistant (PA) in Interventional Radiology to join their team. This role will cover two locations in Hempstead and Riverhead and offers a competitive hourly rate of $100 - $150. The facility is looking for a highly skilled PA with experience assisting in vascular and non-vascular interventional procedures, patient management, and a collaborative approach to care.
Position Highlights:
- Work at two leading healthcare facilities in Long Island.
- Assist in a full range of interventional radiology procedures in a modern, well-equipped setting.
- Collaborate closely with interventional radiologists, referring physicians, and other medical professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in image-guided interventional procedures including vascular and non-vascular treatments.
- Perform pre-procedure evaluations, patient education, and post-procedure follow-up care.
- Monitor patients during and after procedures to ensure optimal recovery.
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to hospital and regulatory compliance standards.
- Work collaboratively with radiologists and referring providers to develop comprehensive patient treatment plans.
Candidate Requirements:
- Licensed Physician Assistant (PA) in the state of New York.
- Experience in interventional radiology, vascular procedures, or a related specialty.
- Strong clinical skills with the ability to work independently and in a team-based setting.
- Excellent communication skills and a patient-focused approach to care.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume medical environment.
