About the Role :
Our client is seeking experienced Wound Care Physicians to join their team in Southern Illinois. This position involves providing specialized wound care services to patients in long-term care facilities. Position Overview :
As a Wound Care Physician, you will deliver high-quality care, focusing on wound assessments, procedures, and treatments. You will work alongside a dedicated wound care nurse and benefit from comprehensive administrative support, allowing you to focus on patient care.
Territory Covered :Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct weekly wound care rounds at assigned facilities within the Southern Illinois region.
- Perform wound care procedures, assessments, and document patient encounters in the EMR system.
- Collaborate with facility staff and a wound care nurse to optimize patient outcomes.
- Travel between facilities within a 45-minute radius, with mileage reimbursement provided.
- Flexible Schedules :
- No weekends, evenings, or on-call shifts.

- Company laptop with wound care EMR system.
- Administrative tasks (scheduling, insurance verification, and coordination) handled by the organization.
- MD or DO with a valid medical license.
- Open to all specialties except Podiatry, or Psychiatry.
- No prior wound care experience is required; comprehensive training will be provided.
- Must be a U.S. citizen (we cannot accept J-1 waivers or visa sponsorships).
What We Offer :
Full-time (4-5 days / week) or Part-time (2-3 days / week), Monday through Friday, 7 AM - 4 PM.
Full-time providers earn $19,000-$20,000 / month based on patient volume and procedures.
Malpractice insurance provided at no cost.
