A leading community health organization is seeking a full-time Board-Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join their outpatient team. This role focuses on medication management and initial psychiatric evaluations, providing essential care to patients of all ages in a supportive, team-based environment.
Position Details:
- 100% outpatient setting with no call or weekend work
- Monday-Friday schedule: 8 AM - 5 PM, including two evening shifts per week (12 PM - 8 PM)
- 20-minute med checks and 1-hour evaluations
- Comprehensive support team, including a medical assistant, case workers, clinical social workers, peer recovery specialists, a collaborating primary care physician, and medical receptionists
- Utilizes NextGen EMR
Position Requirements:
- Board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
- At least 1.5 years of experience in psychiatry
- Experience treating patients of all ages
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary: $140,000 - $150,000
- Health, dental, and vision insurance (80% of individual/family coverage paid by employer – Blue Cross)
- 4 weeks of vacation, 3 personal days, and 10 sick days (totaling 6.5 weeks PTO in the first year)
