Medstar is looking for a Certified Maintenance Technician to perform vehicle maintenance and repairs on gas and diesel trucks (ambulances and vans), preventative maintenance on all vehicles, and a variety of other complicated mechanical tasks.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- 3-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area evaluating, diagnosing and repairing vehicles, preferably working with Ford vehicles
- State of Michigan Master Mechanic license for Light and Heavy Truck
- Valid State of Michigan Chauffeur’s License
- Ability to perform vehicle maintenance and repairs on gas and diesel trucks (ambulances and vans)
- Ability to work as a team or individually
- May be required to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty
