Certification Details BLS ACLS ARRT MD Board of Physicians certified State License 1 Verification Job Details Cath Lab Tech - 4x9 Day Shift : 0700-4 : 30PM 4 x 9 days M-F On Call / Weekend Requirements : On call : 10 shifts / month : 1 Friday per month and 6 M-Thurs on call per month; 3 24-hour weekend call shifts per month (no other weekend requirement) Float Requirement : Job Requirements BLS ACLS ARRT MD Board of Physicians certified 2 years of experience required with Diagnostic Cardiac Cath Lab, Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab, ASD Closures, Cardiac Implant Closure Device, Cardiac Stent Placement, Diagnostic Catheterizations Adult, IABP Placement / Removal, Left heart catheterization, Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI), Right heart catheterization, and Temporary Pacemaker Electrophysiology (EP) Lab, interventional radiology and special procedures experience preferred ; ep lab skills preferred to include insertion and programming of AICDs, pacemaker insertion and cardiac ablation must have experience with Accurate monitoring, Equipment set up, Perform EKG lead placement, Prep access site, Recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias, Room circulator, Scrub- maintain sterile field, Vascular Closure Systems (Perclose, StarClose) with procedural Skills Preferred : Isolation Precautions, Use of Rapid Response team 1 prior travel assignment required Schedule Information Local Rate within 60 Miles of facility Must start on or before 12 / 2 for higher rate Unit Specific Information Unit requires experience with Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab procedures, Electrophysiology Lab skills, and other specific competencies.
