What are the responsibilities and job description for the Applications Analyst III: Cerner (BMDI, CareAware, FetaLink) position at medstar-pilot?
Oversees design, implementation, and maintenance of administrative, financial, or clinical applications. Directs requirements definition, process and use documentation, product testing, product troubleshooting, product upgrades, and report development. Coaches customers and IS management on product use and direction. Assists in managing vendor relationships.
- Preferred candidate
experience would include Cerner/Oracle Millennium application experience
and knowledge of Cerner support models, including (but not limited to)–
Cerner iBus platform (local and Cloud) experience utilizing iCommand and Indus for Bedside Medical Device Integration (BMDI), Infusion Management/iAware, FetaLink, VitasLink (Welch Allyn) - Cerner CareAware Solutions, including Connect Nursing application, Connect Messenger and Voice knowledge/experience, and Nurse Call Integration. This would include CareAware Event Management rules and Claimable Role/CAC Directory build
- Millennium application knowledge and experience, including PowerChart and iAware application support
