MedStar Washington Hospital Center has an immediate opportunity for a Clinical Pharmacist to join our collaborative team in Washington, DC. This position will primarily work in our central pharmacy and will have a rotating schedule including rotating weekends. This is a great opportunity for an experienced retail pharmacist looking to transition into a clinical pharmacy setting!
Provides pharmaceutical care to assigned patients under the supervision of a more senior clinical pharmacist/manager. Evaluates and interprets physician orders and dispenses medication and other pharmaceutical supplies in accordance with established operational procedures, professional standards or practice as well as state and district and Federal laws.
