What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mgr Clinical RN MHUC position at medstar-pilot?
In collaboration with the physician dyad partner, manages the operations and patient care at a MedStar Health Urgent Care facility with a volume greater than 20,000 patients/year. Supervises, interviews, hires, evaluates, and terminates, if necessary, staff. Handles employee and patient grievances. Provides direct patient care as needed. Triages patients for priority of care and efficiency of patient flow. Implements and maintains operational policies and procedures in consultation with Providers, Managers, Directors of Operations, or the Senior Director of Nursing. Supervises obtaining and maintaining necessary inventory of equipment and supplies needed to implement policies and procedures and meet safe staff and patient needs. This position documents as appropriate in the medical records and supports optimal patient flow. Supervises education of staff for new processes or procedures. Supervises maintenance of all competencies, licenses and certifications of staff. Maintains environment and patient care consistent with legal and/or regulatory standards.
