Unit Highlights
48 telemetry beds
Straight shifts (either day shift or night shift positions) with three 12-hour shifts, four self-scheduled weekend shifts, and one on-call shift per a 6-week schedule. Must be able to work holidays as a rotating bundle so you never work the same holidays every year.
Cardiac focused supporting the new cardiac program at MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center.
Support in achieving competence in Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
New to Practice (NTP) Nurse Residency Program
Our NTP Nurse Residency Program is part of Vizient/American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN). It is evidence-based and has demonstrated competitive retention rates of NTP Nurse Residents.

Key Responsibilities
As a Clinical Nurse you will deliver proficient nursing care to patients and families whose needs range from uncomplicated to highly complex. You will identify current and potential complex problems of specific patient populations and critically analyzes trends and changes in patient status and plans appropriate interventions directly or indirectly through other nurses.

Qualifications
- ADN, BSN, MSN, or CNL from an accredited School of Nursing required.
- Prior Clinical Nursing Experience preferred.
- Active MD RN License or Active Compact State RN and Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers required.
