MedStar Pharmacy has an immediate opportunity for a Pharmacy Liaison to join our retail/outpatient location on the campus of MedStar Georgetown University Hospital.

All associates are accountable for their role in meeting patient experience standards. Responsible for assisting the Bedside Delivery Technician with all non-dispensing aspects of medication deliveries to discharge patients and MedStar employees. Duties include gathering Rx's and obtaining patient consent, coordination with bedside technicians, prescription delivery, and handling of payment transactions via mobile device. In addition, this position is responsible for assisting with the non-dispensing functions in the pharmacy including, answering the phone; gathering patient's information for the intake process for new and refill prescription request; handling the pickup area; and performing payment transactions, as well as maintaining the OTC area; delivering or picking up, mail to the mail room; and restocking pharmacy supplies.
