Job Details
ADULT ONLY MS / Tele RN
SHIFT : 3x12 DAYS - 36HRS GWW
Start Date : 3 / 10, 3 / 17
Local Rate within 60 Miles : See AM
Required to float within units of equivalent or lower level of acuity.
Accepts 1st time travelers
Skills Required : Telemetry, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias
Minimum 2 years experience required
Patient Diagnosis : Diabetes, congestive heart failure, infection, sepsis, COPD, general surgery (kidney stones, appendectomy, minor amputations), sickle cell crisis, GI bleed, diverticulitis, general medicine / observation
Special Procedures / Unit Details : Most surgical cases are placed on our unit. Large orthopedic program (total joints), colorectal surgeries, vascular procedures, bariatric surgery. The Telemetry unit is adult only.
Special Equipment : Patient lifts (ceiling and portable), CADD pump, chest tubes, telemetry monitoring, capnography

Job Requirements
BLS Required. Must be AHA or ARC.
Minimum 2 years experience required.
Required to float within units of equivalent or lower level of acuity.
Schedule Information
Weekend Coverage : Every other weekend
6 weekend shifts in 6 weeks per contract
Unit Specific Information
Unit accommodates pediatric patients, but travelers are not expected to hold PALS certification or care for pediatric patients. The Telemetry unit is adult only.
