Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates the care of patients with range of need from uncomplicated to highly complex, during interfacility transport in collaboration with the transport registered nurse. In collaboration with the patient and family, provides theory-based professional patient care and coordinates care delivery with other members of the healthcare team. May be required to drive the ambulance to relieve the primary driver during trips with no patient onboard or to accommodate dynamic staffing needs.
