Are you looking for an opportunity to improve your critical thinking and fundamental skills? Come join us at MedStar Washington Hospital Center for our Summer 2023 Student Nurse Extern Cohort!
The Nurse Extern Summer 2024 Cohort will begin in June 2024 and
will run for 8 weeks. You will be working 36 to 40 hours per week. After successful completion of the cohort, you will have the opportunity to remain on staff in a flexible position (one shift per week), leading up to graduation.
Qualifications for position:
Education:
Current enrollment in an accredited Nursing program and in good standing. Completed at least one semester of medical-surgical clinical.
Experience:
None
Certification/Registration/Licensure:
Current Basic Life Support certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross) required.
