Job Details

  • CATH LAB - 40 HRS DAY
  • START DATE : 2 / 24 or 3 / 10
  • Must start with 3 weeks for the new rate.
  • Shift : Days 7-530 PM / / 40 hours weekly
  • 2 Years Minimum Experience REQ, Will accept 1YR with previous Cath lab Experience (Scrub / Circulate)
  • First timers accepted : Yes (Will need positive references from previous employer.)
  • Weekend REQ : Every Other Weekend
  • Skills Required : Cardiac Stent Placement, Left and Right heart catheterization, (PCI), (PTCA), Cardiac Ablation, Thrombolysis / Thrombectomy, Accurate monitoring, Room circulator, Scrub- maintain sterile field, Cerner, Coil Embolization, Rotablade, SWAN-GANZr, IABP
  • Float Required : Cath Lab and IR as a scrub, circulator and monitor tech (prefer if traveler has EP Skills, but not required)
  • On Call : (10) shifts per month with weekend rotation as necessary
  • Avg. Daily Census : 15-20
  • Rooms : 4

  • Special Procedures / Unit Details : R & LHC, Primary PCI, Vascular / Peripheral Angios, EP Studies, PPM Implacents, Ablations, IABP, SWAN-GANZ, Coronary Lithotripsy, Coronary Microvascular Disease diagnostics, Biopsies (tissue / bone / fluid), Paras / Thoras, Port Placements, GJ Tubes, Nephrostomy tubes

    • Additional Details

  • Required upon hire.
  • A valid driver's license will be required if driving on behalf of MedStar Health is an essential function of the job.
  • Flu vaccine required for all employees.
