MedStar Washington Hospital Center has a full-time position available for a Communications Center Customer Service Representative. This position supports the hub of communication at MedStar Washington Hospital Center (MWHC). Provides the initial contact and impression for callers to the hospital and assists customers with incoming and outgoing services. Acts as the point of contact for the activation of in-house emergency response systems. Executes requests to page clinical and non-clinical associates. Answers questions relative to patient information in accordance with MWHC policy. Provide information in response to inquiries about products and services and to handle and resolve complaints.
This department is open 24 hours a day and flexibility to work day, evening, overnight shifts and rotating weekends will be required. This Full-Time position will be represented by the Service Employees International Union (SEIU) Local 722.
