Under the direction of the Regional Medical Staff Operations (MSO) Director, responsible for the administrative duties required in the Medical Staff Operations processes. The MSO Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring seamless administrative support for the medical staff office. This position is responsible for assisting and managing initial and reappointment files for monthly committee review, maintaining compliance with credentialing standards, and assisting with a variety of MSO administrative tasks. The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative environment, demonstrates exceptional organizational skills, and takes pride in contributing to the operational success of the healthcare team. Works in a team environment within the department and with the Medical Staff offices. Serves as a liaison between MedStar Health-affiliated hospitals, Medical Staff Administration offices, Central Verification Offices (CVO), MedStar Medical Group, and MedStar Family Choice.
