ICU is an 18-bed closed ICU. Critical care residents are responsible to respond to rapid responses, attendings also respond to codes. The work is split evenly between the two providers. We have CV surgery, neurosurgery, neurology via telemedicine, urology, general surgery, nephrology (HD and CRRT), cardiology, IR, etc. in terms of specialty coverage. We have good relationships with the surrounding tertiary centers when transfers are needed.
Days : 2 physicians, 1 APP, and 2-3 residents
Nights : 1 physician and 1-2 residents
