The Assembler I is responsible for all aspects of assembly within the manufacturing cell; shop order completion documentation, inventory, line clearance etc. Responsible for following all procedures and policies related to this job which can affect the quality of products and services provided to customers. Qualified candidates will possess strong work ethic, problem solving ability, and must be team oriented.

A Day in the Life
- Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of Quality System Requirements and all other applicable skills
- Demonstrate the ability to use the appropriate equipment, tools and machines in order to complete assigned tasks.
- Work from visual aids, method layouts, diagrams, and schematics
- Manufacture products according to product documentation- process
- Recognizes failures and takes appropriate action to resolve them.
- Performs required work safely and efficiently
- Inspects all work, including paperwork, before marking product as complete.
- Manage parts inventory in respective manufacturing cell
- Document work performed using appropriate paperwork per process

- High school diploma or equivalent
Nice to Have
Prior experience in an FDA-regulated environment preferred. Lean Manufacturing/Six Sigma.
Problem solving skills, ability to troubleshoot issues in a logical manner. Professional, clear verbal and writing communication. Understanding of assembly blueprints, schematics, and process documentation; ability to use both PC and operating systems. Excellent interpersonal skills.
Ability to maintain standard production rates.
Comply with company policies and procedures and follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

1. Generally exert moderate physical effort; occasional lifting/moving of light objects (1 to 50 lbs.). Some pushing and pulling of product weighing up to 60 lbs. The job involves standing, reaching, grasping, twisting, bending, crouching, sitting, walking, talking and hearing. Extensive use of hands and wrists is involved in assembly/tube fabrication tasks.
2. The job involves a high degree of manual dexterity with close visual attention in handling very small parts and pieces for sustained periods.
3. Flow of work is repetitive requiring constant alertness.
