A Day in the Life
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
- Lead selection and qualification of mobile platform patient handsets and clinician tablets to ensure product supply continuity
- Serve as the Operations core team member to the Mobile Platform core team
- Provide functional leadership to team of approx. 10 direct reports with varying levels of project management experience
- Oversee program managers leading projects that implement changes to commercialized products
- Manage a portfolio of investments in shared Other Product Costs (OPC) to achieve project outcomes while spending to AOP plan
- Drive continuous improvement and efficiency in OPC portfolio
- Drive project management excellence in direct reports and the entire PLM organization
- Collaborate with PLM staff to address issues with product continuity, funding, staffing, etc.
- Collaborate with NM/PH Operations staff to continuously improve the department
- Leads or leverages cross functional teams to evaluate, develop and manage projects for new product development and ongoing lifecycle management of products, processes and therapies.
- Manages the development and implementation process of a company’s products and services involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products and processes.
- Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
- Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.
- Gathers requirements, works on requirements planning, requirements elicitation and requirements management to ensure they meet demands of project’s key stakeholders.
- Communicates with stakeholders, obtains stakeholder engagement to ensure the end products or processes will solve the business problems.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
Must-Have: Minimum Requirements
- Requires a Baccalaureate degree
- Minimum of 10 years of engineering experience and 7 years of managerial experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 8 years experience and 7 years of managerial experience..
Nice to Have:
- Master’s degree in engineering and/or an MBA
- 5 years of manufacturing, operations, and/or product development experience in a regulated medical industry
- Experience leading engineering or project management teams
- Previous Medtronic experience
- Understanding of product design, manufacturing, supply chain, and distribution processes
- Demonstrated ability to recognize and resolve critical complex and systemic problems in a matrixed fast past work environment
- Demonstrated leadership of senior people and complex projects, with a strong track record of success working within a global and complex matrix organization in a high-performing team
- Project management experience

This position is eligible for an annual long-term incentive plan.
The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).The following benefits and additional compensation are available to those regular employees who work 20 hours per week: Health, Dental and vision insurance , Health Savings Account , Healthcare Flexible Spending Account , Life insurance, Long-term disability leave , Dependent daycare spending account , Tuition assistance/reimbursement , and Simple Steps (global well-being program).

Salary : $188,800 - $283,200
