What is DBS? A Deep Brain Stimulation device sends electrical signals within the brain that can help reduce symptoms of certain disorders or disease.

Provides technical expertise to sales representatives, other sales functions and customers through sales presentations, product demonstrations, installation and maintenance of company products.

May provide follow-up support to company sales staff and customer personnel by providing technical support and information on specific applications.

Provides sales personnel with technical data necessary for the demonstration of products.

Ensures adequate records and systems are maintained.

Schedules personnel responding to critical situations to ensure that client's needs have been met and that the product/solution is fully functioning according to specification.

Maintains communication with design management and specialists in resolving technical problems and/or bringing problems to the design department’s attention.

May provide follow-up support to company sales staff and customer personnel by disseminating technical information on specific applications.

Provides and evaluate technical and protocol training to Customers and Medtronic partners.

Provides Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) training as needed to both Customers and Medtronic partners.

Assists physicians in product application, training and troubleshooting.

Provides technical support to Customers for implants, follow-ups, programming and trouble-shooting.

• Familiarity with the operating room
• Excellent clinical acumen
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to work under pressure
• Required to attend national meetings, district meetings and other training as requested
• Sit/stand/walk 6-8 hours per day
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.

In addition to Base Salary, this position is eligible for a Sales Incentive Plan (SIP), which provides the opportunity to earn significant incentive compensation for achieving or exceeding your goals. Learn more about total rewards here.
The provided base salary range is used nationally in the United States (except in Puerto Rico and certain CA locations). The rate offered is compliant with federal/local regulations and may vary by experience, certification/education, market conditions, location, etc.
