A Day in the Life
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
- Responsible for the development and implementation of activities in production area(s) to meet production goals, quality, and cost objectives.
- Provides technical support to achieve improvements in cycle-time, yield, unit cost, quality, safety and compliance of production and operations processes and products
- Sustain current production through day to day support.
- May incorporate inspection and test requirements into the production plan.
- Inspects performance of equipment and tools to verify their efficiency, and investigates and initiates corrective action of problems and deficiencies to ensure product quality.
- Develops manufacturing processes that are applicable to statistical process control and may develop those techniques.
- Design, develop, implement and qualify manufacturing assembly aids, fixtures, tools or equipment.
- Experience handling multiple tasks concurrently
- Experience managing project timelines, budgets and resource allocations.
- Good communication skills (both written and interpersonal). Ability to work well in a collaborative team environment to achieve results
- Excellent data analysis skills, and proficient in the use of statistical tools in problem solving
- Assumes the role of technical project lead for complex assembly projects
- Ensures processes and procedures follow regulations.
Must Have: Minimum Requirements
· Bachelors degree required
· Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with a minimum of 0 year of relevant experience
Nice to Have
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Relevant experience in the medical device, pharmaceutical or highly regulated industry.
- Experience in medical device environment
- Experienced designer of equipment, processes, and controls of complex assembly processes.
- Must be proficient in all MS Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Experience with processes such as Quality Systems documentation protocols
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to self-prioritize workload and take ownership of decisions
- Ability to set performance expectations and hold others accountable
- A roll up your sleeves and jump in where help is needed mentality
- Ethical acumen
- Lead by example

The provided base salary range is used nationally in the United States (except in Puerto Rico and certain CA locations). The rate offered is compliant with federal/local regulations and may vary by experience, certification/education, market conditions, location, etc.
