The ideal candidate will have expertise in Allen-Bradley Logix, Vision Systems, and HMI/SCADA systems. This role involves designing, programming, and troubleshooting automation systems to support manufacturing processes, ensuring smooth operations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
Responsibilities:
- Design, program, and troubleshoot PLC systems using Allen-Bradley Logix platforms.
- Develop and integrate HMI/SCADA systems to monitor and control automated equipment.
- Work with Vision Systems for quality control, detection, and inspection applications.
- Support the commissioning, maintenance, and optimization of control systems.
- Perform testing, troubleshooting, and diagnostics on automation hardware and software.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, and maintenance teams to implement automation solutions.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including PLC programs, logic diagrams, and system manuals.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations in all automation processes.
- Provide technical support for equipment during system installations, upgrades, and modifications.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system efficiency and reliability.
Requirements:
- 5 years of experience in PLC programming, industrial automation, and control systems.
- Strong knowledge of Allen-Bradley Logix platforms.
- Experience with Vision Systems for automation and quality applications.
- Proficiency in developing and integrating HMI/SCADA systems.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and control diagrams.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with a focus on root cause analysis.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field (preferred).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with networking protocols and industrial communication (EtherNet/IP, Modbus).
