What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) position at Medway Country Manor?
Medway Country Manor, a 120-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility is seeking an RN/BSN to be our ADON.
Experience is required. Must be able to commute through all types of weather and willing to take the cart as needed.
Responsibilities
- Oversee nursing staff and ensure adherence to best practices in patient care.
- Manage patient records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Conduct patient observations and assessments, utilizing knowledge of physiology and epidemiology.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop care plans, particularly in critical and acute care settings.
- Facilitate research data collection and maintain accurate medical terminology in documentation.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and promote a safe environment for patients and staff.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) license with experience in nursing management
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, and epidemiology
- Proficient in data management and medical records maintenance
- Experience in critical care, acute care, and infectious disease care
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and OSHA standards
- Background in assisted living or hospital settings, particularly in Level I or II Trauma Centers
- Skills in patient observation and research data collection
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50.00 - $55.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
