About the Role: MedWiz Pharmacy is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Pharmacy Support Associate.
In this role, you will work closely with our team to prepare medications as prescribed by physicians under the guidance of a licensed pharmacist. You will also be responsible for maintaining inventory, ordering supplies, and ensuring a secure environment at all times.
Main Responsibilities:
• Prepare prescriptions: Accurately fill medication orders according to physician instructions and maintain accurate records.
• Inventory Management: Monitor and control inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed to ensure timely delivery of medications.
• Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the pharmacy team, including documentation and data entry into our computer system.
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a pharmacy technician training course and state licensure (as required)
• National certification preferred but not required
