Job Overview:
MedWiz Pharmacy, a long-term care pharmacy is looking to add to our Foxboro pharmacy as we continue to grow. We are currently hiring for our 2nd shift we have openings for Sunday-Thursday, Sunday 9am-730pm Monday-Thursday 3:30pm-12:00am
Responsibilities:.
- Assist pharmacists in accurately dispensing medications to patients
- Prepare and package medications for dispensing
- Maintain proper storage and security conditions for medications
- Manage inventory levels and procure supplies as necessary
- Provide outstanding customer service by addressing patient inquiries and concerns
- Enter prescription details into the computer system with precision
- Conduct medication reconciliation and ensure accuracy in reviews
- Support medication administration, including inhalation and IV infusion techniques
- Adhere to aseptic technique protocols when handling sterile products
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a pharmacy technician training program preferred
- Possession of current pharmacy technician certification (CPhT) highly desired
- Previous experience as a pharmacy technician in a hospital or acute care environment preferred
- Proficient in medical terminology and pharmacy calculations
- Skilled in utilizing pharmacy software systems for prescription processing and inventory control
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced setting while ensuring accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
