Job Description for Contract Nurse RN Hospice

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate contract nurse to join our team as a Hospice RN. The ideal candidate will have experience in providing high-quality patient care and be able to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with diverse needs, prioritizing their comfort, dignity, and well-being.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Monitor patients' conditions, identifying and addressing potential complications or concerns.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and caregivers to ensure seamless care transitions.

Requirements:

• Current RN licensure in Massachusetts.
• Experience working in hospice care, preferably with a focus on symptom management and end-of-life care.
• Strong clinical skills, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
