MedZed utilizes technology to bring healthcare to complex patients in their homes. Our Tech team is developing and implementing business applications to scale MedZed to be a national player. We are seeking an individual to join our team as a Data Scientist/Data Engineer in a remote capacity. In this role, you will provide process mapping and data analytics to help every area of the company work more efficiently and provide external and internal Service Level Agreement (SLA) reporting.

Skills:

· Requirements Gathering: Specifying the capabilities, features or attributes of a projects deliverables. Analyzing the stakeholder needs, wants and wishes to derive the requirements. Establishing consensus and common ground among project stakeholders and participants. Ensuring that the final product has the functionality requested.

· Process Mapping: Defining what a business entity does, who is responsible, to what standard a business process should be completed across multiple functional internal and external areas. Distinguishing how work is actually done from how it should be done and what functions a system should perform from how the system is built to perform those functions. Ability to create process flows using Microsoft Visio or similar tools and propose changes that make the company more efficient.

· Data Analytics: Development of solutions using Excel, and one or more Business Analytics platforms such as Salesforce Analytics, PowerBI, and/or Tableau.

· Data Engineering: Working with the team to automate and allow analytics to run heedlessly as much as possible. In addition, the opportunity to participate in pipeline development is also desired. Proficiencies in SQL, Python, and cloud/devops are desired.

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required

· 5 years minimum experience as a Data Scientist and/or Data Engineer

· Experience in Agile Environment preferred

· Healthcare industry a plus

· Basic understanding and exposure to Requirement Analysis and User Story development

· Excellent analytical skills with ability to understand complex systems and business processes.

· Excellent written, verbal communication skills & presentation skills with proven ability to influence & persuade internal and external customers.

· Strong collaboration skills, strong team player with ability to work independently when needed.

· Professional with ability to handle confidential information.

· Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize and meet deadlines.

· Must have ability to positively handle/manage change, such as high work volume and frequent change in a fast-paced growth organization.

Salary : $110,000 - $120,000
