Job Summary:
The Sr. HR Business Partner (SHRBP) position is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management in designated business unit(s). The position formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization. The SHRBP will conduct end-to-end recruitment. The SHRBP maintains an effective level of business literacy about the business unit(s) financial position, its midrange plans, its culture, and its competition.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities but does serve as a partner to members of the business unit(s) being supported.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Conduct weekly meetings with respective business unit(s).
- Consults with line management, providing HR guidance when appropriate.
- Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the business unit(s) and Chief People Officer to develop solutions, programs, and policies.
- Maintains updates weekly to Chief People Officer regarding respective business unit(s).
- Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough, and objective investigations. Inform/Outline all employee relations issues to Chief People Officer
- Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with Chief People Officer regarding legal issues as needed.
- Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
- Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
- Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation that are driven by the Chief People Officer
- Follow guidelines regarding promotions, terms, increases and open positions provided by Chief People Officer.
- Assists the Chief People Officer in disseminating new policies, programs, or procedures within the respective business unit(s).
- Identifies training needs for business unit(s) and communicates those needs to the Chief People Officer.
- Participate in evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success. Follows up ensure training objectives are met.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Full-Cycle Recruiting
- Source candidates online, HRIS ATS, and offline
- Ensuring communication with candidates is prompt and professional at all stages.
- Organize candidate data and all communications.
- Designing recruitment strategies
- Ensure hiring policies and processes are in place.
- Review recruiting-related documents
- Liaising continually with management
- Running the onboarding process for each new hire
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Bilingual Spanish required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies.
- Ability to acquire a thorough understanding of the organization’s hierarchy, jobs, qualifications, compensation practices, and the administrative practices related to those factors.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Must have the ability to keep confidentiality and follow HIPAA requirements.
- Ability to learn HRIS Systems
Education and Experience:
- Minimum of 8 years of experience resolving complex employee relations issues.
- Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, diversity, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws.
- Bachelor's degree in human resources or related fields and/or equivalent experience.
- SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) credential preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Fully remote position, working from home 8 hours during Monday through Friday.
- Mandatory travel, less than 15%
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
- Must be able to physically meet Chief People Officer up to one time each quarter or aligning with business needs.
Salary : $70,000 - $80,000
