Position Overview
We are seeking a qualified individual to provide operational support for our Meeder Public Funds department, including client service, monitoring of holdings, trade settlement, new account setup, account maintenance, and reporting.
Primary Responsibilities
- Assist with achieving profit objectives consistent with the long-term goals and objectives of Meeder Public Funds
- Prepare and review client portfolio reports on both a regular and as needed basis
- Interface with associates and clients to determine servicing requirements and problem-solving strategies
- Produce, maintain, and analyze holdings and transactions within fixed income portfolios
- Produce requested and original reports, and assist in gathering data needed for presentations
- Coordinate and settle trading activities with the appropriate counterparties
- Setup new client accounts with appropriate brokers and custodians
- Reconcile accounts with appropriate custodian
- Monitor maturities and called bonds and communicate the information to Portfolio Managers
- Research compliance reporting and performance.

Position Requirements
Skills Required
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 3-5 years’ experience in accounting or operations
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products, especially spreadsheet design and maintenance
- Ability to use multiple investment data providers such as Bloomberg
- Ability to operate within and maintain a portfolio management system
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of financial markets
- Basic to Intermediate level knowledge of fixed-income securities
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of the back-office operations of financial institutions
