Senior Engineering Recruiter, Staffing - Houston, TX
Our client is a highly reputable 35-year old woman-owned staffing firm based in Houston. They are adding a Senior Recruiter to their people-first team to work closely with their clients and candidates in filling contract, contract-to-hire and direct hire roles with Engineering skillsets.
The Senior Recruiter will play a pivotal role in delivering top talent while serving as a brand ambassador for one of the biggest staffing firms in Houston. We are seeking ambitious individuals to join our client’s recruiting team and contribute to their success. What You’ll Do
- Identify best-fit candidates for roles through full-cycle recruiting support, including sourcing, screening, and hiring processes.
- Conduct professional and thorough phone or in person interviews to assess candidates against client role needs.
- Lead and be a part of consultative recruiting planning sessions with stakeholders to establish expectations, timelines, and candidate profiles.
- Support and address client needs throughout the recruitment process, ensuring a seamless and positive experience.
- Present hiring and interviewing recommendations to managers and provide full-service support through the hiring process.
- Proactively research emerging talent trends and align them with clients' strategic business directions.
- Anticipate and address any difficulties with searches by collaborating with leadership.
What You Need
- 5 years of recruiting experience within the Engineering vertical. Staffing agency experience is required.
- Strong background working with ATS/CRM systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on strategic thinking.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and candidates, fostering trust and collaboration throughout the recruitment process.
- Experience recruiting for a variety of levels from entry level to executive.
- Proven track record of leadership, innovation, problem-solving, and networking abilities.
- Proven track record of problem-solving and adapting to changing recruitment landscapes, with a focus on delivering innovative solutions to meet client needs.
- Ability to showcase niche segment or industry expertise and utilize technologies in the recruiting process.
