Job Description
The Case Aide is responsible for assisting social workers with managing cases by performing client services clerical and related tasks. Responsibilities include attending meetings; recording notes; preparing and maintaining reports forms records and other documents; inspecting homes and other assigned areas; ensuring compliance with licensing or other program requirements; troubleshooting information system issues; responding to complaints; identifying violations; serving as a liaison to assisting and coordinating with applicants and other internal and external staff and agencies; performing intake; and performing related duties.Job Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Provides assistance to clients by providing licensing and applicable program information; performing intake; conducting inspections; identifying violations; ensuring compliance with licensing or other program requirements; and making recommendations on licensing or other case-related matters.
Enters; gathers; reviews; and/or compiles case-related and other information to prepare and maintain reports; forms; records; and other documents.
Coordinates with and/or serves as a liaison to program participants; applicants; and other internal and external staff; departments; and/or agencies to provide technical information and assistance; respond to complaints; testify in court; and facilitate department operations.
Performs office support duties; including attending meetings; recording notes; and troubleshooting information system issues.
Performs other duties of a similar nature or level.
Education and/or Experience
TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or G.E.D. and two years administrative support or related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Depending on assignment; may require:
Minnesota Driver’s License.

- Utilizing communication and interpersonal skills as applied to interaction with coworkers; supervisors; the general public and others to sufficiently exchange or convey information and to receive work direction.
Physical Requirements:
Positions in this class typically require: reaching; standing; walking; fingering; grasping; feeling; talking; hearing; seeing and repetitive motions.
Sedentary Work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift; carry; push; pull or otherwise move objects; including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Walking and standing are required only occasionally.
Additional Information
Grade: UB22 / 2025 Salary Range: $23.79 - $31.98
