As an Instructional Assistant, you will work closely with the Special Education Teacher to assist them with daily activities in a classroom setting. Position Details:
- Part-Time: approx. 15 hours per week
- After School Schedule: Mondays/Tuesdays/Thursdays/Fridays: 2.15PM-16.45PM ; Wednesdays: 12.15PM-16.45PM
- Location: In-person, school-based setting
- Pay Rate: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour (depending on experience and qualifications)
What You’ll Do:
- Assist in the instruction of individual and small groups of students, reinforcing lessons and instructions provided by the teacher
- Monitor and maintain the health and safety of students with chronic and acute health needs
- Support the teacher in developing and preparing lessons and classroom materials
- Assist the teacher in maintaining appropriate order and student conduct; respond to student disruptions, utilizing approved behavior modification and intervention techniques in accordance with established policies and procedures
- Assist the students with toileting needs or diaper changing (if needed)
What You Bring:
- Minimum of 1 year of childcare and/or school-based experience (required).
- Availability to work during After School hours (required).
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree or higher is a plus).
- Experience working with individuals with autism or other special needs (ABA experience is a plus!).
- Previous childcare experience (nanny, babysitter, tutor, coach, mentor, camp counselor, etc.).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt in dynamic environments.
- Physical ability to walk, run, stand for extended periods, kneel, crawl, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Reliable transportation with proof of auto insurance and a valid driver’s license.
- A passion for helping others and supporting children in achieving their goals.

- Step 2: Mandatory screening call with a Clinical Lead.
- Step 3: Upon successful hiring, in-person or virtual training with a Clinical Lead before beginning your assignment.
