Meelo is looking for dedicated, compassionate professionals to provide in-school care for students with special needs as substitutes/floaters. As a Behavior Technician, you’ll be responsible for assisting Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) in implementing behavior plans in the school setting. You’ll help patients with day-to-day activities, monitor behavior, record and collect data on patients' progress, and communicate with caregivers. It’s a rewarding position — you’ll be an important member of a child’s care team and will see the results firsthand as you help improve that child’s life.

What You’ll Do:
- As a SUBSTITUTE, you'll be subbing for Behavior Technicians that are unable to make it to work that day
- Cover for assignments that could be at any school in the district, including elementary, middle or high school (you may be assisting at any or all of these locations)
- Provide in-person behavior intervention services
- Implement behavior intervention and skill acquisition plans
- Collect and record data
- Follow Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) guidelines and codes of conduct
- Attend team meetings and complete team / individual training sessions
- Collaborate with teachers, school social workers, counselors, and others involved with care of students
What You Bring:
- High-school degree or equivalent (AA a plus)
- Training or experience working with individuals that have autism or other special needs (current RBT certification a plus!)
- Childcare experience (nanny, babysitter, mentor, tutor, coach, counselor)
- Creative problem solver in dynamic environments
- Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate standard office equipment
- Ability to walk, run, stand for long periods, kneel, crawl, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds
- Reliable car, proof of auto insurance, and valid driver’s license required
- A desire to help others gain valuable life skills and use that as motivation for your own advancement
