Paralegal / Legal Assistant
Administrative, Insurance and Service Contract
Qualifications :
3-5 years’ experience in the legal field.
Paralegal / Legal Assistant certification preferred, but not required.
Special Skills Needed :
Excellent organization, communication and writing skills
Proficient knowledge of Word, Excel, Westlaw
Honest, pleasant, professional, organized, dependable, efficient, self starter, energetic
Ability to coordinate and prioritize tasks
Responsibilities :
- Field telephone calls
- Assist attorneys with regulatory compliance matters
- Maintain organized electronic and working paper files at all times
- Maintain Quickbase tracking system for projects in various states
- Maintain working relationship with various clients and regulators
- Assist in preparation of applications, including exhibits, for clients seeking licensure in various state regulatory venues
- Assist with renewal licensure filing projects
- Assist with form filing projects in various states via NAIC SERFF filing system
- Legal research on insurance, service warranty, and administrative matters
- Calendar maintenance and monitoring, response dates, appointments, deadlines
- Email management
- Draft and proof documents, applications & correspondence with accuracy
- Other paralegal assignments as assigned
- Other duties as assigned
Office Hours :
8 : 30 am - 5 : 30 pm
