## Responsibilities
- Manage the accounts receivable functions of the organization
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments
- Perform account analysis and reconciliation
- Monitor overdue accounts and follow up on outstanding balances
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies
- Maintain documentation and records related to accounts receivable
- Provide financial reports related to accounts receivable as needed
## Skills
- Proficiency in GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
- Strong knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Familiarity with financial software such as Quicken
- Ability to analyze accounts and identify discrepancies
- Excellent communication skills and phone etiquette
- Understanding of debits, credits, and basic accounting concepts
- Experience with governmental accounting is a plus
- Knowledge of medical terminology is beneficial
