Job Summary:
We’re looking for a Shipping Clerk to join the team! In this position, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely process of all shipping operations, yard activities, and yard inventory as it relates to the site operations.

Key Responsibilities:
Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all company guidelines and OSHA safety requirements and also through reporting violations of policies, procedures and guidelines to immediate supervisor.
Process and check work orders finished by the shipping team members
Prepare each shipment with shipping labels, packing slips, BOLs, and customs documentation when needed.
Process orders based on buyer’s preferred shipping method (i.e. Routing Guides).
Contact carriers to arrange pickup of shipments.
Keep accurate documentation of quotes for later reference.
Ensure the safety guidelines are being respected.
Maintain a clean workspace
Operate a forklift to move product or materials as needed.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Education - high school education preferred
At least one year of shipping or related experience.
